Get to Know the Artist
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Caleb has been refining his artistic style from early childhood. With a strong foundation in the principles of drawing, he has spent years training his ability to observe and capture detail. He went on to continue his training while studying Illustration and Graphic Design at Taylor University. It was through this deep dive into the digital arts that Caleb came to discover his passion for the physical arts, specifically, painting.
After discovering his passion for the painting medium, Caleb devoted himself to an immersion into the worlds of acrylic and oil painting. While primarily self taught, he has poured into his craft through lectures, literature, academic groups, and hours of studying the old masters. Now living just outside of Lexington, KY, which is world renowned for both horse breeding and bourbon making, he has been exploring both in his work.
What’s next? Caleb is delving into a body of oil paintings focused on cloud formations and horses as unifying principles in various landscapes across the United States. Outside of this body of work, his favorite part of creating is working personally with clients to bring their own visions to life in commission paintings.
